The STREAM-EWS (Strengthening Resilience through Early Action and Impact Mitigation - Early Warning System) enhances disaster preparedness in target floodprone areas across the Philippines by delivering real-time, localized early warnings directly to communities.
This system broadcasts alerts via SMS and social media in partnership with local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), and Smart Communications.
