Country Program Briefer

Since 2013, People in Need has been committed to addressing the Philippines’ most pressing challenges. Our work began in response to Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda), one of the strongest storms in history, strengthening our dedication to the Filipino people. In a country affected by political conflict, social tensions, and widespread poverty, we focus on three core pillars: Civil Society and Inclusive Governance, Climate Resilience, and Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.
